We are pleased to offer a number of outstanding educational and volunteer opportunities here at Wildwood Wildlife Park.

Our Animal Care Internship is a program that we make available to approximately 6 individuals that have at least two semesters of college, majoring in an animal science or wildlife management. Additionally, the students must enroll in college internship class to obtain one of these positions. Students that are accepted in our program will benefit from learning “hands on” professional skills as they relate to animal care that will serve them well in the future.

Our Friends Of The Zoo volunteer program is open to adults and youths ages 12-17 years old. The program offers various ways for volunteers to experience and participate in educational programs, act as informational interpreters, help with special zoo events, and become a zoo aide that assists our staff in the day-to-day operations of the zoo.
